EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DIVISION
The Emergency Management Division collaborates with State and Federal resources in efforts to provide a comprehensive stability operations framework for a timely response to tornadoes, severe thunderstorms, severe winter weather, flooding, earthquakes, extreme heat, fires, dam failure and hazardous materials. The Emergency Management Division is charged with working closely with the Training Division in effort to conduct research analysis, resourcing, preparation, product development, academic rigor, assessments, running estimates, standardized records management and all other matters pertaining to enhancing the knowledge, skills and abilities of the Sheriff’s Office personnel and other mutual aid resources. The division is also charged with providing professional development training and education to the office in efforts to enhance the profession.
