SHERIFF'S FAMILY RESILIENCY PROGRAM

It is clearly noted that professions of service are some of the most demanding careers an employee and his or her family may find themselves in.  This demand has both the family and employee in a hyper state of vigilance in order to provide solace to both each other and the public for whom they both serve.  This hyper state of vigilance could have a wearing effect on both parties involved and with that, communication and mental models may erode as a result.  The Howell County Sheriff’s Office truly understands this demand and selflessness of all involved and the Sheriff’s Office offers complete transparency in aiding those with the appropriate tools for the family and employee to utilize in building resiliency.  The toughest part of building resiliency, is all parties involved must apply effort in seeking self-development in comprehensive fitness and internalize it to open a dialogue of conflict resolution.
