S4 - LOGISTICS

The Staff 4 Office is responsible under direction of the commander or executive officer, which includes developing the logistic plan to support operations and assist in recommending policy for collecting and disposing of excess property and salvage. This office establishes the requisition, acquisition, of storage for supplies and equipment, while maintaining records of accountability and security. This office also includes monitoring and analyzing the equipment readiness status through maintenance workload requirements and maintenance time lines. The Staff 4 Office is a commissioned supervisor filled position or an additional duty assigned to qualified personnel within the Sheriff's Office.
