AWARD OF LIFE SAVING

AWARD CRITERIA

The Award of Life Saving is awarded by the Commanding Law Enforcement Officer of the presiding jurisdiction to a person who, while serving in any capacity in or with the office, distinguished himself or herself by heroic service in pursuit of safe guarding life through act(s) of rescue of another human. Awards may be made for acts of heroism, performed under circumstances with distinction.

CERTIFICATE STANDARD

• All certificates must be printed in color on standardized paper style: Premium Card-stock Paper, 8.5" x 11", White.

• All certificates will be embossed by the hand of the "Commanding Law Enforcement Officer" and signed prior to issue.
