COMMAND GROUP

The Command Group is comprised of the Sheriff, Undersheriff, Major, Captain(s) and Lieutenant(s) who are elected and appointed while being commissioned by the Howell County Sheriff’s Office to carry out Law Enforcement functions authorized by the Revised Statutes of Missouri chapter §57 and certified pursuant to chapter §590. The Command Group is vital in exercising direct and indirect supervision over commissioned and non-commissioned personnel with direct, organizational and strategic leadership approaches to public safety.
